BorgDock 4.9.0
Three new features and two improvements in this release.
New
Start an agent on any machine, in a fresh worktree
Starting an agent no longer means finding a free slot. Pick the machine T3 runs on, the repository (BorgDock picks the one your work lives in) and the branch to start from, and T3 makes a fresh worktree for the thread, just like a thread you start in T3 itself. You get the same choice everywhere you start an agent: a work item, Sync and Fix out of sync, a CI failure to investigate, a workstream and a note.
New
Pick up where an agent left off
Choose Existing thread to send your message to a thread that already worked on it, or to start a new thread in the same checkout. Handing a work item to QA goes back to the thread that did the work, so the agent already knows what it changed.
New
Open a pull request in T3 on any machine
Open in T3 asks which machine to use and lets T3 check out the pull request's branch, reusing the worktree that already has it. Or pick a thread that already works on it. It works the same from the pull request list, its detail window and the tray.
Also in this release
- Slots are gone from Dispatch: you no longer keep a row of W0, W1 … worktrees around, and the Dispatch slots setting is gone. Dispatch follows the threads of every T3 project and names an agent by its branch.
- The scheduled Sync all starts in a fresh worktree of the repository your last run used. Until you've run Sync all once by hand, it waits and tells you why.
Keep it one hotkey away.
